Trisomy 21 and Coronavirus Disease 2019 in Pediatric Patients. We present 4 pediatric patients with trisomy 21 (T21) and associated comorbidities who developed coronavirus disease 2019 requiring hospitalization. A review of the literature revealed that comorbidities associated with T21 may predispose patients to severe disease. Children with T21 should be considered high risk and monitored carefully if infected with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2.
