Endometrial Cancer: Obesity, Genetics, and Targeted Agents. It is imperative to understand the underlying mechanisms of both endometrial carcinogenesis and recurrence in order to develop more effective prevention and treatment. This article reviews available molecular data, the interplay between endometrial cancer carcinogenesis with obesity and genetics, as well as current targeted therapies.
