Short Cervix in a Patient With Twin Gestation. A 28-year-old woman, gravida 1 para 0, with twin gestation presents for routine anatomic survey at 20 weeks of gestation without any complaints. On transabdominal ultrasonography, the ultrasonographer notes concern for cervical funneling and proceeds to perform a transvaginal ultrasonogram, which reveals a short cervix of 18 mm.
