Access to Fertility Treatment for Mixed-Status Couples With Human Immunodeficiency Virus. In an effort to place the recent Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report publications regarding conception options for mixed-status couples with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) in perspective, we review the historical evolution of conception options for mixed-status couples with HIV with particular focus on the potential need for fertility treatment and the feasibility of accessing such treatment.
