Oral Paracetamol for Closure of Patent Ductus Arteriosus in Selected Preterm Neonates. We prospectively studied the effect of oral paracetamol in closing hemodynamically significant Patent ductus arteriosus in preterm infants (gestational age <32 weeks) where Ibuprofen was contraindicated. 29 of 40 neonates (72.5%) showed successful response while 11 (29.5%) failed to show any response. No major complications were seen.
