Double transseptal puncture adjacent to multiple Amplatzer atrial septal occluders: case report. Successful transseptal puncture adjacent to a single Amplatzer atrial septal closure device is well described. Rarely multiple Amplatzer devices may be required to close defects in the interatrial septum. We report on successful double transseptal puncture adjacent to multiple Amplatzer atrial septal occluder devices for the purposes of catheter ablation for atrial fibrillation.
