Pulmonary Hypertension in Pregnancy. Pulmonary hypertension in pregnancy carries a high maternal and fetal morbidity, and mortality. In recent times, there has been significant progress in the field of pulmonary vascular disease with a better understanding of the disease and novel targeted therapies, which have ultimately resulted in improved outcomes. In addition, the development of an individualized and multidisciplinary approach to the management of pulmonary hypertension during pregnancy is essential for improved outcomes.
