Molecular Imaging and Its Role in the Management of Breast Cancer. Molecular imaging plays an important role in the management of breast cancer. An understanding of all the available technologies and their appropriate use are important to navigate patient care in this evolving specialty. The information gained from molecular imaging will impact patient care and may become a springboard for molecular therapy.
