A 61-Year-Old Man With Influenza Pneumonia and New Onset Hemoptysis. A 61-year-old man presented to the ED with fever, chills, cough, purulent sputum, and progressive shortness of breath for 7 days. The patient was an active smoker with at least 80 pack-year smoking history. He had no other medical or surgical history and was not on any medication at home.
