Emergency management of massive haemoptysis. In this manuscript, we present a rare case of massive haemoptysis secondary to rupture of a pulmonary artery aneurysm, which was unusual for having occurred in the absence of tuberculosis or a vasculitis. We describe the emergency management of this that ultimately resulted in the patient's survival from both an anaesthetic and surgical perspective, as well as discuss the role of interventional radiology in this situation.
