Carcinoma of the gallbladder presenting as haemorrhagic cholecystitis. Gallbladder carcinoma has several atypical presentations, but one of the rarest is intraluminal haemorrhage, which occurs in 1% of patients. We report a case of gallbladder cancer diagnosed by an emergency cholecystectomy, performed for acute cholecystitis caused by a hemocholecyst.
